I do not watch the programme but I certainly heard enough about what goes on a couple of years back, when I was studying, from such academics who justified these particular voyeuristic needs with full descriptions of what they saw, who then followed them up with their analyses - and an "oh by the way, the kids like to watch it"!

In response to:Ok so I finally watched Big Brother....

I was actually looking forward to big brother! Well thank goodness for innocent ignorance. My boss still has difficulty finding the start bar. Has never heard of an electronic blackberry (damn silly name anyway) and attempts to reach me at home are usually met with "I'm in the bath".. or I am out shopping at some random location! He did manage to get hold of my mobile number at one time so I promptly changed it and have refused repeated requests to give him the new one, so that he can contact me at all hours of the day! Ha! And I still have a job too! lol
I started off by considering why I started blogging, and about the flowing stream of consciousness that comes to life in blogdom where it might not otherwise see the light of anything. There are so many variations of blogs on offer, a cacophony of communication to suit many tastes that are all forms of journalism in their own inimitable ways.

Like for you, the responses are for me, an integral part of the experience; some are so humourous, clever, sweet and simple, mind-boggling and thought provoking. That facet, the feedback, is the motivator to continue.

In response to:went on hols...

Agreed, lot of hassle and a bit intimidating at first but after I worked out how to handle it (pretend wedding ring) it was fine, feel much happier about things now... xx

In response to:Why do we blog?

I think people are quite careful in their comments
Certainly some of the things I have said about my relationship...well, my real life girlfriends would give me a total ticking off and tell me to stop being so fecking selfish. I haven't had that at all.

Oh!that's not why i like blogging by the way!People let me get away with anything...ah hah ha...

I remember I used to be scared of reading others comments when I first started writing my blog though.

In response to:went on hols...

Blimey!

On your own?I just booked a ticket to Portugal. I'm going alone because I want to and I know Sagres well enough to know its a great place for a lone girl to cycle and swim around in for a week and I'll get cheap accomodation from the ladies at the bus stop...but i thought about Morrocco.

I have been there..Taradount...but not to Marrakesh. It was lovely. Found the hassle off men in some places a bit off putting to go it alone though....
I had a huge response (both positive but to my surprise alse VERY critical) after I wrote about sex during my perion, I thought everyone did that. Then I found out (through some interesting websites) that you'd lose 7 years of sex if you never did it when you are "on"!

Dark brown cords ( bum looks good) or jeans ( bum also looks good)

either a black wraparound top (full sleeved) or a little printed brown silk and chiffon strappy top with stroky shrug)

deffo wearing my comfy brown leather ( heeled and round toed boots )

yes and have suitable underwear... not that I am planning on anyone seeing it... but just for me which is much sexier!!
Will post on sunday with an update- thank you
Hope I have managed to make sense.

In response to:Rock N Roll.. is dead??

I'm also thinking jeans and a plain vesty type top. Jeans that make your bum look great and a top that makes your boobs look great. Although I'm guessing not too much skin, coz it is a concert not a nightclub!!!!
Smart trainers would be good too, something comfy!!!!
Have fun, let us know when you're about to be named as one half of a celebraty couple!!!!

In response to:A different life... :)) :))

I love that! My most used quote of his is "why clean? when after 2 years the dust doesn't get any thicker".

Now then. Rock 'n Roll dress for a 30 year-old hmmmm. I do understand your dilema. There's not much out there for those of us between 29 and 50. (now there's an idea for a business).

Are we actually talking about a rock band here? If they are a *rock* band - I'd go in black jeans, black stilleto boots (if you can bear to stand up in them all night), and a plain (ie not flowery etc) lycra top (in guess what - black).

I would put my heels in a bag to change into after the gig, and wear docs or something similar to dance in.

Hope this helps :)

In my "address book" I have:
-a "friend" who just spent New Year's with my ex and his new squeeze in France
-a girl I who got a job through me who hasn't contacted me since August of her own accord except to ask via MSN if I believe in fortune tellers
-a manic depressed girl who keeps going in and out of hospital with mental breakdowns and uses me as a walking cash machine and verbal punch ball
-a girl who met her fiance through me and who hasn't invited me to their engagement party
-past friends who have borrowed money for their "rent" and spent it on VCRs and fags...
Can I cut out and paste your P45 to email to them!?
